Depending on the manufacturer and model of the firearm, iron sights can be removed or relocated as well.
Having an optic cut in your pistol’s slide is a great way to enhance the performance of your firearm.
We can take an off-the-shelf, standard firearm and make cuts into the top of the slide for an optic to be mounted. Adding an optic to your handgun allows you to have faster sight acquisition when shooting. However, not all slide optics and firearms are compatible. Please call us to ensure a proper fit.
Slide Windows
Various side milling patterns can be cut into the factory slide of your firearm. Side milling is a decorative procedure with the added benefit of saving weight.
After optic cutting or side milling is complete, it is recommended to either Cerakote or black nitride the machined part to protect the metal from wear and the environment.
